Parental Leave Pay NZ
Primary Carer leave in New Zealand is paid through the government's paid parental leave scheme which provides eligible parents up to 26 weeks of paid leave at a rate determined by prior earnings subject to a cap. This is not paid by the employer, but rather the inland Revenue Department.
