Do small businesses have health and safety obligations in New Zealand?

Question

Accepted Answer

Yes. Under the Health and Safety at Work Act, small businesses have the same duty of care as larger employers. Every PCBU must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers, identify and manage hazards, and ensure staff have the right training and information.
